The Establecimieto Santa Cecilia was created more than fifty years ago when Cesareo Navajas decided to create a cattle breeding enterprise importing to the country the first Indic races and so developing the first Cattle Company and Nelore Breeder in the province of Misiones.
Some years later, his son Carlos Adolfo Navajas, who inherited his audacious spirit and a deep love for the countryside decided to develop the idea of generating a concept of forestry in a way that it didn’t remove green space to the original cattle breeding system of the company. In this way the establishment has been developing for more than ten years pine, eucalyptus and Australian cedar plantations in Silvo-Pastoral systems.

Today, a third generation, but with the same original spirit from his founder, knows how to conserve and develop a familiar project that transformed Santa Cecilia into a model enterprise which apart from cattle breeding and forestry, started Estancia tourism and substratum for forest nurseries.
